Kitchen Canopy + Duct Cleaning
The problem: Build up of grease deposits from cooking get baked on to the kitchen canopy and ducting over a period of time. These can create a fire hazard and unsafe working conditions for kitchen staff.
ACS Group Solution: We offer a comprehensive canopy and duct cleaning service that includes the following:
- System surveying including video/photography using our inspection robots to inspect your kitchen canopy and ducting
- Hygiene readings taken before and after the work is carried out so you can see exactly what we have cleaned.
- Comprehensive cleaning using our rotary brush system that gets the full length of your ducting. Beware companies offering to clean who do not cover the full system.
- Replacement of fans and filters to ensure the system is working as efficiently and safely as possible.
- Full service of extraction equipment to make sure it is operating at its optimum
Our Kitchen Canopy and Duct cleaning service prevents the risk of fire and minimizes risk. We meet and exceed all obligations listed under TR/19 HVCA Guide to Good Practice Internal Cleanliness of Ventilation Systems.
All work undertaken is carried out by fully trained and qualified engineers to the highest standard. A certificate of compliance conforming to the TR19 industry standards is issued after every full clean, which will count as proof that work has been carried out for your landlord, council, insurance company and other legal purposes. Our team are trained in the safe use of industrial cleaning equipment. All of our contracts are conducted with the utmost attention to health and safety. For all contracts we create site specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements. COSHH Data sheets are also provided, as well as copies of our Health & Safety Policy.
In accordance with industry standards TR/19
We are experts here at ACS Group in cleaning duct and kitchen extract systems to TR19 standards as required by the insurance companies. There is now a requirement by the insurance companies to have the canopy and ducting cleaned regularly.
ACS offers a complimentary service where on request one of our technicians will call to the premises and carry out a survey to determine if cleaning is required or not.
Suggested Duct Cleaning Schedule
On completion of the survey our ACS Group specialist will provide the results which will have established the level (measurement) of grease.
A schedule of cleaning will be proposed and agreed on.
On completion of the cleaning of the canopy and ducting a written report will be provided with photographic evidence of pre and post cleaning.
A certificate of hygiene will be issued by ACS Group.
A laminated copy of the hygiene certificate will also be provided for display in the kitchen area.
